Seams & Flashing Details

All seams, fasteners, penetrations, drains, and other flashing details are coated with Silicone Brush-Grade 422 or Urethane Brush-Grade 522. These highly flexible mastics enable the system to withstand the natural expansion and contraction (thermal cycling) of the roof structure. This step of the application process is especially important, as the “details” of a flat roof are the most common spots for leaks to occur.

Base Coat Application
A base coat of Silicone 410 or High-Solids Silicone 412 is then applied. These advanced high-solids silicone coatings ensure applicators maintain uniform mil thickness throughout the system and is uniquely formulated for maximum adhesion to metal roof surfaces.
Top Coat Application
A top coat of Silicone 410 or High-Solids Silicone 412 is then applied. This highly-advanced silicone top layer forms a seamless, flexible, rubber-like membrane that provides the system with industry-leading UV protection, reflectivity, weatherability, and adhesion.

What is roof restoration?

Roof restoration (sometimes referred to as liquid roofing) is the process of restoring your existing metal roof to like-new condition with the use of elastomeric roof coatings. The process does not typically require the removal or replacement of any existing material—aside from any small portions of the roof that may be damaged or compromised.
